DTS 2019 Christmas Office Decoration Contest
At Dallas Theological Seminary, there was an annual Christmas Decoration contest for departments to participate. Our department decided on a favorite Christmas movie theme for each cube and office. After declaring Die Hard for my cube, I decided to take our theme further to create a movie theater atmosphere on our floor. I created hanging signs as a marque for each movie represented, attached extra Christmas movie poster prints as decorations for coming attractions, and converted our floor’s gathering space to be the lobby with movie previews on the screen and fresh popcorn bags available on the day of judging. It was a delight to create the atmosphere and more fun to work in it for a month! Everyone embraced the challenge, and I helped co-workers with decorations. We won 1st place.
